Hey! As you may know, my name is Samantha and I want to share with you a little bit about myself and what inspired me to start Simply Nutritious & Fit.

"I’ve always been very passionate about fitness and even more so, health."

I struggled immensely with the healthy balance of food growing up. With health issues rising and unhealthy weight increasing, I had to make a change. But I too was (AM) a glutton for sweets. And I knew there were others out there just like me. And so I chose the path to helping others find their balance of living a healthy lifestyle.
I got my degrees and certifications in fitness and nutrition, learned all the rules, just so I can know how to BREAK THEM!
I too — had spent unnecessary amounts of time in the gym, really getting nowhere with my fitness goals. I would go to the gym 5x a week, spend at least an hour of my time going to classes, doing random exercises I saw on videos or doing overly intense workouts because I was told, “That’s what gets results."  I enjoyed the gym so I didn’t mind, but I knew something was off. I was putting in way too much time for such little reward.
And I too — tried endless crazy diets that lead you on the path to nowhere. Because strictly eating lean proteins and vegetables all day, everyday, is too boring!
Now, let’s be real, of course eating those foods are important for a number of healthy reasons but, realistically we know that eventually we’re going to want the unhealthy stuff… donuts, pizza, wine. So it’s important to learn how to actually incorporate that into your daily life without sabotaging your health or weight loss efforts.
I started out as a Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach in a high end gym on the Upper West Side of New York City and I absolutely loved it! I loved helping people, educating them and being a supportive figure in their life towards their transformation. However, something dawned on me was that I only saw my clients 2 maybe 3 hours out of their entire week, leaving A LOT of room for error when we weren’t together. And although they were learning and their bodies were changing, I knew I wasn’t as influential as I could be had they received my 24/7 support. Support when they REALLY needed me… whether it was a life obstacle that got in the way, a stressful day at work or maybe they were just lacking the motivation. I couldn’t have the impact I wanted to have with only 2-3 hours a week!
And then it hit me! If I took my services online, I could help an ENDLESS amount of people and I can be there for them when they truly needed it, since I’m only a phone call or text away. And that’s when it started, I left my job at the gym and started Simply Nutritious & Fit so I could help people all over the world when they REALLY needed my help. Since then, I’ve noticed a drastic change in the influence I was now truly making. Now, hearing “You changed my life forever!” has become the norm.
